Field notes on photographing lightning, mostly badly.

About

I photograph storms on the plains east of here, badly and irregularly, mostly between April and September. This site is where I keep the notes so I stop making the same mistakes each spring.

Everything on it is written after the fact, usually the following morning with a cup of tea, which is why it is calmer than the evenings were.
